| Bio: | Character's name: Shirou Kamui Character's age: 9 Character's gender: Male Series the character is from: X Point in canon they're being taken from: Pre-series Brief background: We aren’t shown much of Kamui’s childhood, but from what we do know, it seems that he and his mother, Magami Tooru, moved around quite a bit before ending up in Tokyo. He was a rather lonely child before he met the Monou children—Fuuma and Kotori—because no one wanted to play with the child with no father. Even as of now we don’t know who Kamui’s father is and quite possibly, we’ll never know. Upon his arrival in Tokyo, he met Fuuma who found him in the rain with an abandoned puppy and they became friends right away. Sometime not far from their first meeting, Kamui’s mother introduces him to the rest of the Monou family and he’s pounced on by Kotori who says she likes him and wants to be friends too. Despite his destiny looming somewhere ahead, with the Monou children, Kamui had a fairly normal childhood. He spent most of his time with Kotori and Fuuma, forming a very strong bond between the three of them. He’s even told Kotori once that he’ll be her “bride” because he really likes her and Fuuma, in exchange for Kamui’s promise to never make Kotori cry, promised to protect Kamui with Kotori jumping in and saying that she’ll protect Kamui too. However, once Saya dies, Kamui is taken away from Tokyo to Okinawa by his mother without a word of goodbye to the two people he cherishes most in the world only being told the reason that they were in some way, responsible for Saya’s death. Personality: From the very first meeting with Fuuma, Kamui is quite a compassionate child—gentle and kind—wanting to help the puppy, but not wanting to take it in, in fear of hurting its feelings when he leaves again. However, he’s also a bit melancholy, something that slowly changes once he spends more time with Fuuma and Kotori. He’s also a bit more reserved and shy than most children his age, but he’s never really had the chance to associate much with others his age before he met Fuuma and Kotori. But it’s partly that that makes him cling as he does so to the Monou siblings. Like most children, he’s very innocent and is quite sweet if you get to know him well enough. He’s very loyal to the ones he care about and wishes for nothing more than their safety and happiness even at the risk of his own safety. However, that usually just causes people to worry over him. Even still, if there’s something he can do for people he cares about, he’ll do it. | ||||||||||
